The forest consumed me as I staggered towards a clearing. I was in so much pain but I bulldozed my way, one foot after another. Left, right, left, right, left, right. I used the rhythm to keep myself awake, lest I crumble on my own two feet. Suddenly, a sharp ringing sound pierced through the air. I reached the clearing and looked up – I saw a shooting star so ferocious it cracked the sky...
I get this rush from applying all the teaching/assessment strategies I learned in NIE. I’ve never been so motivated in doing lesson plans. I love my job, seriously (for now).

in death, you are alone, but not really
I haven’t written in a while, partly because Day One and Memento have taken a special place in my gadgety heart, and partly because school is just sucking the soul out of me. And also partly because I have amazing friends who sometimes (unknowingly) throw shit at me, who take a hell lot of my time (and sometimes I secretly wish they would take more), but I love them still.
